Imran Tahir will play for Rising Pune Supergiant - Mitchell Marsh OUT due to injury


South African's Imran Tahir, the no-1 bowler for ODI and T20 according to ICC rankings is all set up to join IPL 2017. The IPL franchise, Rising Pune Supergiant signed him as a replacement for Australian allrounder who is out of tournament due to shoulder injury. 

Tahir who was released by Delhi Daredevils after the IPL previous season. In this season no one was interested much in buying him in auction which held in February 2017. 

Rising Pune Supergiant now have 2 overseas legspinners in their squad. They bought Adam Zampa after an impressive debut season in 2016. 

In last season Tahir played four matches. He picked up 29 wickets in 20 matches for Delhi Devils.
