IPL 2017: Virendar Sehwag Set Hopes On These 2 Players For Kings XI Punjab


IPL is just starting and many players are still getting in and out due to several reasons. Many players are out for whole tournament due to injuries and personal issues. While some players are now joining different franchises as replacements.

Virendar Sehwag who is head of cricket operations for King XI Punjab believes that these 2 overseas players, Varun Aaron and Darren Sammy will boost the team energy level and strengthen Kings XI side.

The addition of new player such as Varun Aaron, T Natarajan and Darren Sammy will bring fresh ideas and skills. This camp will focus on developing our aggressive, brave and carefree style of cricket, while hopefully installing pride and passion in playing for Kings XI Punjab,

Sehwag said in recent interview.

Kings XI Punjab training camp will start on Sunday at Holkar Stadium.

Sehwag also added:

We have high hopes and expectations for IPL 10 and this cricket camp will be the stepping stone to having a successful season

The former national team skipper said that adding past players in the team always boost the team moral and we can always take advantage of their experience in the tough matches. No doubt Sammy and Varun have good experience of t20 cricket and they will play vital role in the success of KXIP.

Other members of team like staff and assistant coaches Minhas and batting coach will also join the team camp starting from Sunday at Holkar Stadium.
